Salah Mimar Chaughata died 11th May 1858

On 11th May, 1858, the death anniversary of Mian Salah Mimar. One hundred and sixty years have not erased his memory as well as his work in Lahore. A proud descendant of Ustad Ahmad Lahori (died 1649 AD), Chief Architect of Emperor Shah Jahan, and a worthy ancestor of Khan Bahadur Abdur Rahman Chughtai Mussawar (died 1975 AD). We remember you with love and dignity. May the Blessings of Allah be upon you!
