The dilemma of a national burial place was resolved by a former Chief Minister of Punjab and the DC Hafeezullah Ishaque helped us with the issue. M.A. Rahman Chughtai and his brother Abdur Raheem Chughtai were buried on the museum site and they have rested in peace for decades now. With the demolition of the museum, the issue of graves will come up. Previously the Government of Punjab has dumped bodies of Peers and Faqeers, and holy men in the pool of dust and rivers.
