He was in Cairo, when word came that the visit of French Prime Minister was cancelled and Prime Minister Suharwardy could visit the USA to meet President Eisenhower. The visit was a total failure and the US declined interest in the fate of Prime Minister Suharwardy. Both foreign ministers, Foreign Minister Muhammed Ali Bogra and Secretary of State Dulles watch the event in mirth.
