Last days of MARC

The anguish is unimaginable. The dilemma of a national burial place was resolved by a former Chief Minister of Punjab and the DC Hafeezullah Ishaque helped us with the issue. M.A. Rahman Chughtai and his brother Abdur Raheem Chughtai were buried on the museum site and they have rested in peace for decades now. With the demolition of the museum, the issue of graves will come up. Previously the Government of Punjab has dumped bodies of Peers and Faqeers, and holy men in the pool of dust and rivers. Disregard for anything held sacred by people.

Now the NATIONAL ARTIST OF PAKISTAN who was honored with a Hilal-e-Imtiaz and Pride of Performance by 1959, is to be manhandled decades after his death. DOES OUR RULERS KNOW ABSOLUTELY NO SHAME? To uproot bodies after 42 years, the Curse of Allah will be with those who do this carnage!

  1. I have seen him cry within his life time at the apathy of those in power. I can still hear his cries today.
